In support of taking action on climate change, Toronto Zoo will turn off all non-essential lights from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. We hope you will do the same!

Hop along the Zoo's "Spring Trail" to visit some of your favourite animals and solve an egg-citing word puzzle! Check out one of our special Easter keeper talks, and take part in a "Beary-Bunny Easter Parade" at 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm daily. Don't forget to watch for sightings of Explorer Bear at the Courtyard Stage, he will be donning his festive Easter ears!

The Zoo is hosting the premier Earth Day event in the GTA - our very own "Party for the Planet." What better place to celebrate Earth Day than at the Zoo to learn about ways that YOU can be an ambassador for living in a more environmentally friendly way. Meet the Zoo's recycling dynamic duo, Henry and Douale, and enjoy extra keeper talks at the polar bears.

Each year the Toronto Zoo hosts rattlesnake workshops ($5.00 donation) for the people who share habitat with rattlesnakes near their homes and cottages, and where they work and play. Discussions about the natural history of rattlesnakes will be followed by ample opportunity to ask questions.

Celebrate the arrival of spring by experiencing the sights and sounds of amorous male toads in search of that special someone! Our annual wetland festival is scheduled around the explosive breeding ritual of American toads at our very own Americas Wetlands Outdoor Exhibit.
